Come listen, learn and take action! Engaging videos and expert speakers will help you make sense of several important proposals to address the current US healthcare crisis. Hear about President Obama's Health Plan, the “Public Option,” as well as the status of legislation in Congress. Learn about Single Payer plans operating internationally and proposed for the US from Physicians for a National Health Plan's (PNHP) Claudia Chaufan, MD, PhD.
Also, California State Senator Mark Leno will speak about his bill (CA SB 810) The California Universal Healthcare Act and explain how we can support it.
